Getting there and the practical bits

Double-size accessible hut; decking connects directly to the promenade.

Cafés, public toilets, a Changing Places toilet, water taps and paid seafront parking are nearby. These are shared beach facilities, not private facilities in the huts.

Check the walking distance, steps and parking arrangements for your chosen hut. Facilities can have seasonal opening hours.

Bringing your dog

The main East Beach has a seasonal dog exclusion from 1 May to 30 September, and dogs must be on leads on the promenade. Check the signs and the hut provider’s own pet rules.

Permission to bring a dog into the hut is separate from access to the beach. Ask the hut provider before booking.

Weather, tides and water

Check the latest forecast and tide times shortly before you travel. A forecast available today may not cover your planned visit.

See current beach conditions

Follow local lifeguard advice and beach safety signs. Tide predictions do not tell you whether it is safe to swim.

A little more to your day

Leave time for a walk, a picnic or something nearby. Check opening hours, access and any separate booking requirements.
