Classic huts have seating; Eastern Edge fittings vary by design. These huts do not have electricity, lighting or heating. Toilets and cafés are nearby rather than inside the hut. Check the access description and what to bring before travelling.

Bringing your dog

Lowestoft’s South Beach has a seasonal dog exclusion from 1 May to 30 September. Check the marked boundaries before choosing a spot or arranging a hut rental, and ask the provider whether dogs are permitted in the hut itself.

Permission to bring a dog into the hut is separate from access to the beach. Ask the hut provider before booking.
