Beer Beach, Beer
This plan is not a reservation. Your booking confirmation contains your agreed hire and arrival details.
Check hut details and bookingBeer keeps things simple but useful. Parking right by the beach is limited, though there is a larger public car park in the village. Toilets are close to the beach, and the village itself is a short walk away for food and essentials. This is more cove and fishing beach than fully loaded resort frontage.
Check the walking distance, steps and parking arrangements for your chosen hut. Facilities can have seasonal opening hours.
Facilities and beach guideBeer is partly dog friendly in summer rather than fully open. Dogs are allowed on the eastern half of the beach all year. On the western half, they are banned from 1 May to 30 September. That means you can still bring a dog in peak season, but only if you stick to the permitted section and keep an eye on the signs.
Permission to bring a dog into the hut is separate from access to the beach. Ask the hut provider before booking.
Plan a dog-friendly dayCheck the latest forecast and tide times shortly before you travel. A forecast available today may not cover your planned visit.
See current beach conditionsFollow local lifeguard advice and beach safety signs. Tide predictions do not tell you whether it is safe to swim.
Leave time for a walk, a picnic or something nearby. Check opening hours, access and any separate booking requirements.
Things to do in BeerShared plans contain only the hut and chosen date. Keep keys, access codes and booking references private.
Open the map to explore these places without leaving Hut & Tide.
Map tiles load from OpenFreeMap when you open the map. Pins use recorded positions; some huts share an approximate beach-area point. Parking pins do not confirm entrances, walking routes or available spaces.
2 places have no recorded map position. Check the listings and parking information for details.
A few places to consider before you set off. Check the route from the car park to your beach or hut.
East Devon District Council
The council lists separate short-stay and long-stay sections at Central car park. Check the signs for the section you use.
East Devon District Council
Listed by the council as a long-stay car park. Check current tariffs and the route to the beach before parking.
These are source-checked records, not live space availability. Charges and restrictions can change: check the council information and signs when you arrive. A Blue Badge bay does not confirm step-free beach access.
