You can have a hut day, then wander straight into cafés, shops, bars or the rest of the city without feeling you've left the beach behind.

Hove Promenade has the classic hut line and the strongest hut look, while the city council's chalets are spread more widely across Hove, Madeira Drive, Ovingdean, Rottingdean and Saltdean. Turn up, collect a key, and have a base for the day. Available as walk-ins at selected Brighton and Hove beaches from late March to September, or book in advance for a minimum of two days at other locations. Prices typically start from around the cost of lunch out.
