Swale Borough Council offers weekly beach hut hire at The Leas, Minster-on-Sea. The hire week runs from midday on Monday until 8pm on Sunday, making this a base for several visits during the week.
Minster Leas has a sand-and-shingle shore backed by a promenade and grassy bank. At low tide, wider areas of sand, shingle and mud are exposed, so the view changes through the day.
Plan your route to the beach.
Check the facilities near your hut.
Bring a picnic or explore nearby cafés.
Steps lead down the grassy bank to the promenade. Public toilets are listed on Minster Beach Path; check your route and any mobility requirements before booking.
Swale excludes dogs from designated parts of Leysdown and Minster beaches from 1 May to 30 September. Dogs must be on leads on the promenade. Check the marked boundaries before settling on the beach; a town-wide description cannot establish the rules beside a particular hut.
